However, it is important to recognise that due to longer showering times and the possibility of multiple bathing requirements per day, leads to greater moisture generation which can present a high risk of condensation and mould. According to the NHS, the people most affected by mould are the elderly, babies and children, those with respiratory problems or weakend immunes systems. This is why it is so important to offer the correct ventilation to suit the particular needs of the resident with an adaptation and combat condensation and mould issues.
